Carlo grew up in Durban on the coast of the Indian Ocean and was involved with swimming from a young age; this included competitive inter-school swimming galas and Lifeguarding.

Carlo has had many Lifeguarding roles around the world including recently at the John Lewis Group’s Odney Club in Cookham.

He is an enthusiastic teacher who gets great satisfaction from teaching swimmers an important skill that they will have for the rest of their lives and holds the STA Level 2 Teaching and Safety & Rescue qualifications and also delivers fun swim sessions for us to Claire’s Court Holiday camps in the school holidays.
