Having trained for 5 years as a full time athlete in the lead up to London 2012 Olympics where she competed with the team, (see photo – Katie is far left) and achieved sixth place, Katie then qualified as a coach in 2013 at a synchro performance club.
Let’s Dive in Swim England Affiliated Swim School has set up a new synchronised swimming club for children aged 7 upwards who have achieved Stage 4 or more in their swimming activities. This aquatic discipline is now known as artistic swimming. Swimmers progress through the Swim England Stages 8-10 and then onto LDI Synchro Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards to learn individual skills and routines to music.
