Katie was taught by Karen and Michelle when she was younger to learn to swim. She then continued her swim training for fitness with LDI and has always enjoyed the sport. Katie jumped at the opportunity to learn how to teach others and join the LDI team.  Katie now has her STA level 2 teacher’s award and STA Rescue test award. Katie co-delivers the Newlands Girls Swim Squad too and is a great role model for the pupils.

Katie enjoys inspiring swimmers of all ages and helping them to enjoy swimming the same way she has over the years. She understands LDI’s ethos of safe, fun and inspiring lessons. Katie is currently studying her A-levels and plans on going to drama school to follow her passion in acting and performing arts.
